The author started his journey as a mail clerk asking two men about their uniform they were wearing in the post office. That was the author first time seeing or hearing about a reenactment. The book will take you though a journey with the 33rd United States colored troop and Battery B second United States Colored Light Artillery Regiment. They are memoirs of events of places in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, teaching and educating blacks and whites about the United States Colored Troops. This book provides historical facts, maps, charts and pictures during the civil war and today as a reenactor.
About the Author
James was born in Southport, N.C and the ninth of eleven children.After high school james attended Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. James been married over fifteen years .James have two sons and a step- daughter.James loves God, his family and his friend.
